MOUNT RAINIER NATIONAL PARK, Wash. — The two Navy aviators killed in a fighter jet crash last week have been identified.
According to the U.S. Navy, 31-year-old Lt. Cmdr. Lyndsay P. Evans and 31-year-old Lt. Serena N. Wileman, both of California were on board an EA-18G Growler that crashed near Mount Rainier October 15.
Evans and Wileman were part of the Eletronic Attack Squadron known as “Zappers”. The two were declared dead on Sunday.
