SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — A woman died and another person was hospitalized from a motorcycle crash near North Fairview Road and East Piper Road Friday evening.
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the pair were riding a motorcycle around 7:10 p.m. when it crashed.
Callers said the female passenger was not breathing and CPR was in progress.
The woman died at the scene. The motorcycle driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
Initial findings of the investigation point to speed and possible impairment as factors in this crash. No other vehicles were involved.
The investigation is ongoing.
