NEWPORT, Wash. — A 17-year-old girl died after a vehicle rollover near Newport on Sunday, according to Washington State Patrol.
On Oct. 13, a vehicle was traveling southbound on Highway 2 near milepost 318 when it left the roadway to the left, entering the median.
WSP said, the vehicle continued through the median, rolled into the northbound lanes, and came to rest in the northbound ditch. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
The teenager was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital, but was pronounced deceased at approximately 3:32 p.m.
