SPOKANE, Wash – More than 37,000 voters in Spokane County have already voted and returned their ballots for next month’s general election.
That’s just over 10% of registered voters in the county.
Those numbers were updated by the Spokane County elections office Thursday afternoon.
The number is expected to rise with the next count Friday.
Voters in the city limits of Spokane have returned the most ballots at 17,010.
Statewide ballot return statistics won’t be available until next week.
371,521 people are registered to vote in Spokane County.
