SPOKANE, Wash. — The Bulldogs are getting some preseason respect in the AP’s Preseason Top 25 poll.
The AP has put Gonzaga at #6 between Iowa State (5) and Duke (7). Kansas tops the poll.
Gonzaga is in the top 10 despite losing guard Steele Venters for the second consecutive season who’s out with an Achilles injury.
The Zags open the season against Baylor (8) at the Spokane Arena November 8.
