MOSCOW, Idaho — The Moscow Police Department arrested a man for attempted homicide in a stabbing Wednesday night.
According to police, officers responded to a home on Washington Street near D Street around 9:45 p.m.
Police say the 73-year-old man was stabbed multiple times and held down the 35-year-old suspect on the floor until officers arrived.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and his current status is unknown.
The suspect was booked into the Latah County Jail for attempted homicide.
Moscow police say the suspect and victim are family members, but no other details were provided.
