SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane police detained a man carrying a loaded handgun walking through Northtown Spokane.
The incident was reported by multiple 911 calls from the community around 7:15 a.m.
Officers searched the area and located the man near Francis and Maple.
During the interaction, officers noted that he was in a state of crisis, making bizarre and concerning statements.
The firearm was seized, and the individual was transported to a local hospital.
