OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. — Firefighters have lowered the evacuation levels for the wildfire burning near Bridgeport.
The Jack Wells Fire broke out Tuesday afternoon in the Bridgeport-Brewster area around 4:30 p.m. It has since been lined by crews.
Okanogan County Emergency Management initially told everyone to evacuate immediately (Level 3) near Cameron Lake Road, Delfeld Road, Snyder Flat Cutoff Road, Alkali Pond area and Brewster.
Wednesday morning, Emergency Management said all evacuation levels were lowered to Level 1, meaning people should just be aware of the fire but can return home.
