FERRY COUNTY, Wash. — People living along 4th of July Creek Road can now return home as firefighters continue to battle the Goosmus Fire in Ferry County.
On Monday, firefighters announced evacuation levels on 4th of July Creek Road have been lowered but people should still be ready to leave at a moment’s notice if conditions change (Level 2).
In the town of Danville, evacuation levels have been lowered as well as people living there should just be mindful of the fire (Level 1).
Containment has grown on the fire that broke out Wednesday afternoon to 7%. The Goosmus Fire has burned just over 1,700 acres.
