CHATTAROY, Wash. — Firefighters with Spokane County Fire District 4 are battling a brush fire near Chattaroy.
According to SCFD, the fire in approximately five acres burning at E. Staley Road near E. Tallman Road about seven miles east of Newport Highway.
People are asked to avoid the area but no evacuations are reported at this time.
