SPOKANE, Wash. — An electrical circuit failure led to a house fire late Tuesday night in Spokane’s Garland District.
The Spokane Fire Department arrived at a home on West Garland Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday for reports of a fire in the attic.
Firefighters confirmed everyone was safely out of the home and cut ventilation holes into the home’s roof.
The fire was controlled in under ten minutes.
The man who lived in the home received help from the American Red Cross to get temporary housing assistance.
SFD said the fire caused about $75,000 in damages to the home.
No one was hurt by the fire.
