SPOKANE, Wash. — The Bureau of Land Management lifted fire restrictions on public lands Tuesday.
The BLM said you should still be careful when driving motor vehicles on roads or trails with vegetation or high grasses.
Fireworks and exploding targets are still prohibited at all times on federal public lands. Violating this prohibition is punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 or up to a year in jail.
BLM said to make sure campfires are completely put out and cold before leaving a campsite.
