GEORGE, Wash. — An Ephrata man was injured in a semi-truck crash Friday morning.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old Jesus Villa Ambriz was driving on North Frontage Road near I-90 east of George around 10 a.m.
Deputies say Ambriz was driving westbound on North Frontage Road around 10:11 a.m. when his vehicle failed to negotiate a northbound curve, rolling his semi-truck.
Ambriz sustained life-treatening injuries and had to be air-lifted to a nearby hospital and his current condition is unknown.
Right now, deputies believe speed and distracted driving were factors in the crash.
