SPOKANE, Wash. – Good news for Pickleball lovers!
Spokane Parks is considering teaming up with Spokane Pickleball Club to expand courts and events around the city.
Spokane Parks said it currently provides a lower than average service for the sport.
Just last month, Spokane’s very first dedicated pickleball courts opened up in Corbin Park.
This potential new partnership would mean more ways to play the sport for free and more opportunities to learn, compete and watch.
Wednesday night, the Spokane Parks Board will hear the proposal for the first time. Then, the board will vote on the agreement next month.
