FERRY COUNTY, Wash. — The Keller Post Office is temporarily closed due to a wildfire burning the area.
Operations for the Keller Post Office are moving to the Wilbur Post Office about 25 miles south of Keller.
The Swawilla Fire has forced Keller residents from their homes burning over 46,000 acres. The fire is 26% contained.
Firefighters says there will be favorable weather conditions Monday and Tuesday so they will conduct burnout operations to help protect Keller.
People in the area will see more smoke from the burnouts.
