AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. — If you see some increased activity at Fairchild Air Force Base this week, don’t worry.
The base is running emergency response exercises Monday, July 22 through Wednesday, July 24.
People around the area may see sirens, fast moving vehicles, and loud noises, according to Fairchild.
Fairchild says the exercise is to prepare for the unlikely case of an active threat and not expected to impact other base services.
