SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — If you’ve been looking for a sign to adopt a furry friend, this might be it! Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service (SCRAPS) is at capacity and waiving adoption fees for a few days.
SCRAPS said on Tuesday it needs to clear out kennel space, so the organization is waiving adoption fees from July 16 through July 20.
Those wanting to adopt only need to pay the cost of licensing, which is $28 for dogs and puppies and $18 for cats and kittens.
Until SCRAPS clears more kennel space, it is unable to accept any additional animals.
SCRAPS is located at 6815 E. Trent Avenue and can be reached at 509-477-2532.
