SPOKANE, Wash. — Police responded to two drive-by shootings in North Spokane this week.
Around 3 a.m. on July 15, Spokane Police Department responded to a call about a group of people fighting in a parking lot and shots fired near Addison Street and Central Avenue.
When officers arrived, multiple people left the scene in cars and by foot.
Officers learned a party had been happening before the fight broke out.
SPD stopped a car with three minors and one adult who said they had been involved in the fight.
Police found a handgun in the car and learned the teen driver had fired one shot during the during the party.
No injuries were reported and 18-year-old Jordan L. Boren was booked into Spokane County Jail for drive-by shooting and second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.
His bond is set at $50,000.
On July 13 around 6:30 a.m., SPD responded to a reported drive-by shooting near North Wall Street and Francis Avenue.
Neighbors told police 3-4 shots had been fired at a nearby home and a suspect left in a car.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found two cars with bullet holes outside a home, but confirmed the residents were uninjured.
SPD said they believe it was a targeted drive-by and the residents likely know the suspect.
