ADAMS COUNTY, Wash. — A pilot safely landed a plane near Ritzville on Monday after engine failure.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 11:45 a.m., the pilot safely executed an emergency landing in a plowed field about one mile south of the Ritzville Municipal Airport.
Both the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have been notified and will conduct an investigation.
The pilot was uninjured.
