SPOKANE, Wash. — Police arrested a man Sunday evening for shooting at bar patrons after being asked to leave.
On July 14, around 9:00 p.m., The Spokane Police Department (SPD) arrested 22-year-old Mateo L. Bear near the Illinois Bar & Grill.
According to SPD, the bar stopped serving Bear and asked him to leave.
SPD said that’s when Bear produced a gun and fired two to three rounds toward the bar and guests in the patio area.
SPD located the firearm in a recycling container in a recycling container bullet hole in the fence around the patio.
Bear was booked into the Spokane County Jail on ten counts of assault in the first degree.
His bail is set at $250,000.
