A storm system right off of Washington’s West Coast will keep us cloudy on Monday, but we’ll be waiting for a while longer to get a chance for some rain.
Expect overcast to mostly cloudy conditions throughout Monday with highs in the 50s. Skies will be cloudy enough tonight that lows in most areas will only drop to the 40s for the start of Tuesday.
Dry weather holds through Wednesday, but changes arrive Thursday as a system brings a 40 to 60 percent chance for rain for North Idaho, the Spokane area, and Southeast Washington.
This weekend, cooler air arrives with frosty mornings, lower snow levels in the mountains, and a chance of rain in the valleys by Sunday evening.
