SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Velocity took down Union Omaha, 2-1, for its second win in three matches against the club.
After a scoreless first half, Velocity midfielder Luis Gil scored off a turnover in the backfield by Omaha.
Spokane’s second goal came on a free kick in which Derek Waldeck found Cameron Miller for a header.
Velocity allowed a goal in stoppage time but was still able to hang on.
Spokane is back in action against Central Valley Fuego at 6 p.m. on Saturday at One Spokane Stadium.
